We checked into our campground at Blackwell Island RV park Sunday afternoon site #2 and it was the first time to fully unload the trailer and SUV. It’s a very nice RV park where Spokane River flows into Coeur d’Alene Lake with nice sized campsites, a small playground, water access, water toy rentals, laundry and quick access to downtown! First night we had a pizza feast with Ashlee’s dad, Rosanna, and Rosanna’s granddaughter, Chandler.

Day 2 we ventured into town to walk the main downtown area of Sherman Ave. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at Tito’s Italian- delicious! In the afternoon Ashlee’s great uncle Buddy & his wife stopped by for a few hours of visiting! It was wonderful to see them and introduce them to both Bentley & Carter since the last time we saw them Ashlee was pregnant with Bentley. The evening was a fun father/daughter bonding for Ashlee & Todd as they enjoyed a little bar hopping in downtown. Thanks Kevin for hanging with the boys!! 💙

Tuesday July 19th was an eventful day at Silverwood Theme Park!! The park was about 25 minutes north from the campground. Bentley absolutely loves the rides and was right at 36” tall so he got the ok to ride most of the kids rides! Chandler joined us and went on most of them with him. It was a hot day so the afternoon at the water park was perfect!

Train roller coaster with daddy & Chandler

On our final full day in Idaho we decided to explore downtown some more starting with a yummy breakfast at Collective Kitchen then we enjoyed a 5 mile bike ride along the lake front trails. We took the boys to the Fort Sherman playground and then we rode the 100 year old carousel for a few rides! 🎠

Afternoon consisted of nap time, relaxing at the campground then meeting up in town with Ashlee’s dad, Rosanna, Chandler, and Rosanna’s childhood friends for dinner, drinks, and playing some card games. After a delicious dinner at the Crown & Thistle British Style Pub we hung out at Bill & Cheryl’s (Rosanna’s childhood friend) house and the boys found a dirt pit to play in!

Thursday we did some laundry then it was time to pack up and head to Montana!

Next stop Montana 🐻
