We arrived to Nashville late Saturday 9/24 so our first full day was Sunday. After doing some laundry at our campground we got ready and headed to downtown to checkout the Country Music Capital of the World! Of course we had to go straight to Luke’s Bar (Luke Bryan) which was 4 stories, had 3 live bands playing, and some amazing hot chicken bites! Our table was perfect to overlook the band area and the boys enjoyed the views. Our good friends, Alex & Tai moved to Nashville a few years ago from Oregon so they met up with us in downtown which was so fun and great to see them 😊🤠

That evening Sydnee, Ashlee’s sister, flew in to join the birthday celebrations week! The following day we decided to go to the Nashville Zoo and then go back to the downtown area.

In downtown we checked out HonkyTonk bar which allowed kids on the second floor… we ordered the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich and quickly realized when a flame is next to it… it’s HOT! After we did some boot shopping then Kevin was amazing and let Ash & Syd do a little bar hopping birthday shenanigans while he took the boys to a Penguin Hockey game then back to the RV. A really good singer was performing at Lucky Bastard Saloon so we pretty much hung out there and then did quick drinks at Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row, Luke’s 32, and Losers Bar. We had a blast!

The following day was Ashlee’s big 35th birthday!!! To celebrate we went to The Grand Ole Opry House for a tour… it felt surreal to be there after seeing it on tv and hearing about it for so many years! Such a cool place with so much history. 🤠🎵

After touring the Grand Ole Opry we went to a nearby outdoor restaurant/bar with live music. It was perfect for the boys with outside games! That evening Kev took the boys back to the RV so Ash could celebrate her birthday with Syd and friends Alex & Tai who met up for some festivities!

The following day was a long day of recovery… ouch😵🥴! Syd flew out and we decided Nashville was so fun that we extended two more nights, however the campground was full so we had to move to the one next door. We had a relaxing day at the new campground playing on the bouncy houses and playground. Our last full day in Nashville was a fun one going to an aquarium restaurant for lunch- the boys LOVED it!! Food was ok but the entertainment was great! We then met up in downtown with Alex & Tai to walk around the park near their house, grabbed drinks then dinner and had some great convos at their condo. So wonderful to spend a few fun days with them and get the locals tour 🤠🎉

It was officially time to say goodbye to Nashville and head north to Kentucky! Our last state to visit before heading West… Tennessee was an absolute blast and we can’t wait to return 🤠🎵🎉
